Rain Man, which came out in 1998, won an incredible four Oscars and 22 other awards for its beautiful storytelling and stunning acting. However, not everything went to plan whilst filming. This isn’t a blooper, it’s more of an unplanned addition to a scene, but it’s an absolutely hilarious one.
When Dustin Hoffman goes into the phone booth to make a call, he apparently decided to use his moment to pass gas – perhaps as a small gift for Tom Cruise? This made Tom Cruise giggle quite a bit and we can’t say we blame him. Although this is a pretty serious movie, that touches on some sensitive subjects, it seems as though these two still had plenty of fun filming it.
Forrest Gump
It’s a firm favorite for people all around https://hookupdate.net/escort-index/tucson/ the world and anyone who says they didn’t cry at least once in this movie is a liar. However, just because it’s amazing, doesn’t mean it’s free from any kind of blooper. Particularly this funny scene at the end, where Forrest says he invested in some kind of fruit company (AKA, Apple).
However, as the tech company didn’t go public until 1980, and it’s thought he made the investment after Hurricane Carmen in 1974, he couldn’t have actually invested in any stocks. If he’d somehow been part of the venture capital funding, however, his share in the business would have been around $53 million when they did start trading. Woah.
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
Sometimes, no matter how good a movie is, it can never come close to the book. This is evident in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Those who were big fans of the writings of J K Rowling were quick to point out an error that defected from the original books. Harry’s mom, Lily, is supposed to have green eyes.
However, in the movie, we see that her eyes are blue. Yet, what’s even stranger than that, is her eyes turn brown in this scene! Sure, it’s not the most important mistake in the world, but when you’re a serious Potterhead it can be annoying to see the movies aren’t staying as close to the books as possible.
Dirty Dancing
A story about emotions and forbidden love is always entertaining. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey engage in a forbidden affair that was bound to happen. However, despite all the fans and critics alike loving the movie, it’s not free from errors. When they are in the car, you can notice a small blunder.
Patrick is driving the car, but the vehicle is actually in parking gear. The director must have forgotten his morning coffee. It’s never easy to film scenes in cars, as you can’t always just stick a camera on the bonnet and ask the actors to drive down a road. So, most car filming is actually done on a set with a moving background. If only they’d corrected this one small flaw, no one would have been any the wiser!
Dallas Buyers Club
Matthew McConaughey played the role of Ron Woodroof masterfully in Dallas Buyers Club. This is a striking story that conveys the struggles of one man who is diagnosed with acquired immune deficiency syndrome, who wants to help others who are unable to get their hands on the right medication.
The 2013 film was a blockbuster hit, but that doesn’t mean it comes without any flaws. In one scene, we take a look at Ron Woodroof’s office where we spot a posted of a Lamborghini Aventador. That’s all well and good, except that the car wasn’t made until 2011. The movie was set in the mid-1980s, during the height of the AIDS epidemic, so there’s no way that poster should be there.
