MBTI Similarities
ENFPs have dominant Extroverted Intuition, Introverted Feeling, Extroverted Thinking, and Introverted Sensing. INFJs have dominant Introverted Intuition, Extroverted Feeling, Introverted Thinking, and Extroverted Sensing.
If you take a closer look, it might seem like their functions are the opposite, but they, in fact, complement each other. This makes them the perfect match for each other.
• INTUITION
Both ENFPs and INFJs have Intuition as their dominant function when it comes to taking in the world, with Feeling helping when they need it. Extroverted intuition is about exploring, and introverted intuition is about processing. This is how they get information.
Both of them are driven by the need to understand, so they easily connect with each other in this way. They communicate with each other in a way that the other person prefers, so it’s exceptionally easy – it feels natural for them to spend the night talking to each other after meeting for the first time.
• FEELING
INFJ’s extroverted Feeling means that they take into consideration how their actions will affect others, while ENFP’s introverted Feeling means that they make decisions based on their own feelings and values.
Their shared Feeling function means that they have a natural affinity for each other, and in a relationship, they’ll both strive to meet each other’s needs.
The INFJ personality type is focused on their goals and making plans to reach them in the best way, while ENFP cares more about the process. This isn’t a problem in an INFJ-ENFP relationship – they balance each other and bring to the table what the other person needs.
ENFP And INFJ Personality Types
INFJs are guarded, and they seem to be reserved, but in reality, they’re very emotional and protective of their feelings. They’re idealists who like to help people. They can be shy and find it hard to get out of their inner world, but they enjoy having close relationships.
They feel things deeply, so they’re cautious, and their fear of getting hurt can make it difficult for them to let people in. They believe in love, but it’s hard for them to open up enough to connect to someone.
Gaining their trust isn’t easy, and they fear being misunderstood. The person who succeeds in getting to know them will be treated with access to INFJ’s beautiful personality and romantic nature.

ENFPs are very enthusiastic and seemingly almost chaotic. In reality, what appears to be excessive energy is actually a sign of their passion for life.

• Connection
Both of these types can’t wait to develop an emotional connection with a potential partner, and with communication between them being so easy, they won’t hesitate to open up to each other and be authentic. In this way, they can quickly form a deep connection.
